DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

Individuals requesting to receive information from the Consell Comarcal may unsubscribe at any time. They may also access, rectify, erase, and object to the processing of their data. These rights, regulated under Regulation (EU) 679/2016, may be exercised at the administrative offices, electronically via the e-Office (generic form), or in person at the Consell Comarcal del Maresme registry office at Plaça Miquel Biada 1 in Mataró during office hours.

Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency if the Consell Comarcal fails to comply with regulations.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

If the user only makes a query, their data will not be used for any other purpose than to respond to it.
When the user unsubscribes from any of the Consell Comarcal’s information services, their data will be deleted.
Data will also stop being processed as a social media user when they unfollow the account.
Before submitting any request through the website forms, the user must accept the privacy policy and terms of use to give express and informed consent for the processing of their data for the indicated purposes.

IS IT MANDATORY TO PROVIDE ALL THE REQUESTED INFORMATION IN THE FORMS?

Not providing the required personal data or doing so incompletely may result in the CONSELL COMARCAL DEL MARESME being unable to process the request, and it will therefore be exempt from liability for not providing or partially providing the requested services.
The personal data provided by the user must be current to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the records.

Minors

Children under the age of 14 may not submit their personal data to the CONSELL COMARCAL DEL MARESME without the prior consent of their parent(s) or legal guardian(s).
If underage users are detected, the Consell Comarcal reserves the right to request a copy of the national ID or equivalent document and, if applicable, the parent’s or legal guardian’s authorization. If this requirement is not met or there is no response, the user will be removed.
