Once the contributory unemployment benefit has been exhausted, you may be entitled to a subsidy if the required conditions are met. You can be a beneficiary of the subsidy if you are unemployed and have used up your contributory benefit.

For individuals under 45 without family responsibilities, the exhausted benefit must have lasted at least 360 days.
